Wish to use this medium to
notify all PRE-NYSC Students (Uniben graduates preparing for NYSC), has been directed by the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) to obtain _*Medical Clearance Certificate*_ from their respective health facilities.
To this effect, the University of Benin Health Centre Department has released a circular; stated below:
1. All those with medical clearance certificate already(those that did their medical clearance before, while in school) should get their case files for the doctor's perusal and then any test not done before or found needed will be done in the centre. Therefore this category of students should endeavor to come with their clearance certificate as evidence.
2: For those that never did medical clearance they are to pay a total of N5,000.00 (N2000.00 for X-ray and N3000.00 for blood investigation).
NB: Without this payments, the tests will not be conducted and no certificate can be issued.
Thus,we advise that students should not pay any amount to anybody except they have not done their medical clearance before now.
Also, they should confirm from the doctor by going through their case files to ascertain any test they have not done before now.
Please be careful and always ask questions so as not to be extorted; We wish you a stress-free exercise.
