Ring! Ring! That’s your cell ringing,
my cell? Yes, I mean your cell-mate,
sorry, but it’s a pity that our phones have become our soul mates,
we go about with them everywhere like our playmates,
only that we don’t mate,
with this device which has caused so much pain and hate,
in many relationships and made mankind to lose faith. Ever since it’s invention,
man has continue to suffer discretion and dejection,
from affluent friends who possess this commodity,
and proclaim their superiority,
over those who then make it their priority,
fully aware that they possess no savings and they live in penury,
sadly, they are ready to lose their innocence and sanctity. Conversations now go boring,
we now sum up our feelings in emoji’s that do not really express how we feel,
this device has led to countless accidents,
leading to deaths that would have been averted if we youths
are not so careless. We should learn to exonerate our life over luxuries,
so that, our corpses do not litter the mortuaries,
heading for such unpleasant journeys to the cemeteries. But, it is not only this device that makes us modern slaves,
this is the reason we have to learn how to: *Have fun without alcohol, *Dream without drugs, *Talk more without cell phones, *Smile without selfies and finally love without conditions.
For if we continue to engage in such activities, we remain confined to the blurred walls of civilisation. @collinsadolf
