SENTIMENTS OR SERVICE???
In my last write-up, I asked a very sensitive question "Will you vote for a candidate because he has a political ambition or because he can deliver?" Well, It's quite different this time but not quite far from the same subject matter called "POLITICS".
I will reiterate this... I am not against people going for the candidate of their choice but I am more against why some set of people who claim to be the" politically wise ones" will want to ride on people's intellect by compelling them on a candidate to vote for. Hmm... It's a difficult truth really... But like I said, the integrity of my virtual pen can not be questioned as I will always speak the truth at any point no matter how hard it sounds.
Sentimentality is what has brought us into this present point we are as a nation and what I fear may chance as it's looking like we are walking on this same path. Funny as it may sound, most people who find themselves in this case of sentimental politics to an extent owe their conscience an explanation simply because they know Sentimentality can never produce result but someway, somehow, they are tied into it.
My point is clear, no matter how loyal you want to be, you shouldn't allow people think for you in selecting who leads you at any point in time. Your decisions in life is important and shouldn't be rode on by anyone no matter the loyalty.
We all need to start doing things rightly even at the faculty level so we won't end up leaving a wrong NIGERIA to the next generation just like our so called "LEADERS" have done to us.
Enough of classifying people as either political or non political. It's high time we started allowing the right people carry the collective vision of our different faculties to ensure maximum delivery.
I will say again and again... Right remains right if no one is doing it and wrong will remain wrong even if everyone is doing it.
