WHAT IS DOXA GORAC?
The DOXA GORAC is an event geared towards projecting UNIBEN gospel rappers and also fostering unity amongst Gospel rap lovers and UNIBEN students in general. It is our sincere desire to produce the greatest gospel rapper in Nigeria from UNIBEN. We have carefully observed that other areas of human art have been well projected and supported except Gospel rap. This is why we are taking this bold step to lead the change!
DOXA means GLORY in Greek. DOXA GORAC Is a non-fellowship event but entirely Gospel. This year's DOXA GORAC is organized in conjunction with the office of the UNIBEN SUG president, Comrade OBAKPOLO LAURETTA O.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Access to participating in this contest is as easy as just sending a text message of some major information about yourself to 08168288639
-full name and stage name,
-whatsapp contact and reachable phone number,
-gender,
-faculty,
-department,
-level,
Then indicate your interest by typing "I WANT TO CONTEST IN DOXA GORAC". If your application is accepted, you will get a confirmatory message via whatsapp within 72 hours saying"YOU ARE NOW A DOXA GORAC CONTESTANT, BE PREPARED!"
Once you have received this message,send your best pic to 07055184496 on whatsapp with the write up "I AM A CONTESTANT IN DOXA GORAC" (1 pic only and nothing else)
No dime is going to be taken from any of our contestants. It is completely FREE! This Gospel rap contest is not for profit but for projection.
Entries will close after the first 40 contestants are confirmed and accepted!
THE JUDGES
The judges would be the crowd (the loudest voice). This will make the judgement more fair,competitive and lively. Come prepared!
PUBLICITY AND MAN POWER
We have a well built publicity and man power strategy such as
-the use of daily online updates on whatsapp, Facebook, instagram,and Twitter
-blogs,
-THE DOXA CONNECT (An hostel radio station that will begin a week before the contest so as to project the contestants to the university community), -free Corel draw designs containing contestant pic and details for each contestants so they sell their name to the campus with it,
-a viable committee of more than 20 young and vibrant people,
-use of campus news letters,
-use of banners and posters.
